Caleb at the Playground

Caleb's first visit to the Pumpkin Patch

When asked, "What does the sheep say?" Caleb always correctly yells "Baa!" Petting a live sheep is still a new experience toward which Caleb is gradually growing confident and enjoying more and more. In the petting zoo, there were also chickens, goats, rabbits, and a pig. Caleb required about fifteen minutes before he'd warm up to the animals and let go from clutching his parents' jeans! After we tired of the farm at the end, Caleb wouldn't leave without getting upset.

We had a free ride on the ATV, going around the pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and other rides. Caleb was apprehensive at first, but later enjoyed the ride.

The cumulation to a great outing at the Pumpkin Patch fair! We bought two pumpkins: a large-sized one for carving, and a miniature that Caleb personally picked and held as if it was a ball - a favorite toy of his. Caleb signs and speaks "Pumpkin!" and gets thrilled every time he sees a pumpkin wherever we go, including Ralphs.
